The Black KA-BAR Fighter, featuring an extra wide blade that measures 1 1/2”, is constructed with an epoxy powder coated, 1095 high carbon steel blade and powdered metal butt cap. Carbon steel guard and oval shaped Kraton G_ thermoplastic elastomer handle insure a non-slip grip. Fighter measures 12 13/16” overall, blade length is 8”.
Offered with black leather and Cordura combination sheath.

KA-BAR Introduces Desert KA-BARS and Desert MULE Folders

KA-BAR Knives, Inc., a subsidiary of Alcas Corporation, introduces desert-colored KABAR fixed blade knives and MULE Folders.
The Desert KA-BARS are constructed with non-reflective black epoxy powder coated 1095 cro-van blades and desert-colored Kraton G® handles. Available with a straight or serrated blade, both knives are sold with desert-colored glass-filled nylon (hard plastic) sheaths. Blades measure 7”. Overall length is 11-3/4”. The Desert MULE Folder is a sturdy all-purpose utility lockback folder made with desert-colored Zytel handles that feature black Kraton inserts for an extra sure grip. Stainless steel liners provide extra strength. Blade is black Teflon® coated AUS8A stainless steel, available with a plain or partially serrated edge. Each knife is sold with a desert-colored nylon belt sheath that can be worn vertically or horizontally. Blades measure 3-13/16”. Open length is 9-1/16”.

KA-BAR Knives, Inc., a subsidiary of Alcas Corporation, introduces the Black KA-BAR Heavy Bowies. The Heavy Bowies, offered in two lengths, are constructed with 1085 carbon steel blades. Ergonomically shaped Kraton G® thermoplastic elastomer handles insure a non-slip grip. The shorter of the two knives measures 12-5/8” overall. Blade length is 7-3/8”. The larger Bowie measures 14-1/4” overall. Blade length is 9”. Both knives sold with black leather/Cordura combination sheaths. Available in U.S.M.C. and U.S. Navy blade and sheath options, these specially decorated knives commemorate the 60th Anniversary of the Battle of Iwo Jima. The epoxy powder coated high carbon steel (1095 cro-van) blades are pad print decorated with specially designed art. The image features the flag raising on Iwo Jima, years 1945-2005, the words “Honoring 60 Years” and the famous quote that appears at the base of the memorial “Uncommon valor was a common virtue.”
The overall length of the knife is 11 7/8” and the blade length is 7”. Proudly made in Olean, NY, and stamped KA-BAR.
